Piano Sketches
This is a collection of improvisations (except for “Snowfall”) which were recorded very casually, with little or no technical preparation. This is literally an example of my musical sketchbook — raw ideas put down in a stream of consciousness form. In many cases, I take themes from these improvs and develop them in to more finished pieces. “Snowfall” is an example of a piece that was developed in this manner.
I created this album in response to a request from friends and family for a CD of my music. So here it is, blemishes and all.
